DevOps Team Leader

We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader to join the Mortgage Modernization team at a leading bank and take ownership of the DevOps domain in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Exclusive position through Matrix, as part of a unique and advanced project.

Location: Lod | Hybrid

Scope: Full-time

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a DevOps team, including professional mentoring and guidance
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Proven hands-on experience with ArgoCD
• Kubernetes-based management, including Crossplane
• Strong experience managing cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS, and maintaining innovative solutions
• Close collaboration with Development, QA, and Product teams, while meeting strict information security standards
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement long-term solutions
• Implement DevOps best practices, including GitFlow, monitoring, and observability

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or team lead role
• Strong expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, VSTS)
• Proven experience working with AWS and deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Strong problem-solving skills, architectural thinking, and a holistic system-level mindset
• Leadership capabilities, initiative, and strong decision-making skills
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across and outside the organization
