Component Engineer

Beth-El Industries Ltd. (www.beind.com) seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Components Engineer to join our Development Department.

Responsibilities:

• Meta data management for standard and catalogue parts:

- Identify and select mechanical, electrical, and electronic components

- Classify parts in the company’s ERP system (future PLM system)

- Manage obsolescence and propose alternatives

- Communicate with suppliers for technical data and availability

- Maintain and update parts database, incl. commercial data (e.g. opt. order qty, lead times, pricing)

- Ensure compliance with safety, defense and environmental standards (acc. customer specification)

• Support engineering and procurement teams

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field, from a well-known university.
• Experience in component engineering or technical procurement
• Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems and component databases.
• Highly detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical English, written und fluent communication skills in Hebrew and English
• German – advantage

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of obsolescence management tools and methodologies.
• Experience with international suppliers and technical documentation.
• Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., MIL, ISO, CE)
