Senior Power Electronics Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Power Electronics Development Engineer with strong hands-on development experience to design and develop power supplies and power electronics for airborne systems.

The role covers the full development lifecycle, including concept definition, detailed design, simulation, prototyping, laboratory validation, and transition to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of power supplies for airborne systems
• Design and development of motor drive control solutions for electric motors
• Development of power electronics circuits, including converters, regulators, and control stages
• Design and development of analog electronic circuits
• End-to-end development activities: schematic design, simulation, hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, and production support

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering – required
• M.Sc. with specialization in Power Electronics – advantage
• 10+ years of proven hands-on development experience in power electronics, power supplies, analog electronics, and electronic motor drive control – required
• Direct involvement in full product development cycles, from concept and detailed design through verification, validation, and production readiness – required
• Practical experience with lab measurement equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.)
• Proven experience using analog and power electronics design tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, Mentor Graphics

Advantages

• Extensive experience designing isolated power supplies using various topologies (Flyback, Forward, etc.)
• Strong background in DC motor control (Stepper, Brushed, Brushless)
• Knowledge of space-grade electronics, including radiation-tolerant components
• System-level electronic architecture design experience
• Experience designing grounding schemes and power distribution trees at the system level
