Experienced DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of designing, implementing, and supporting modern DevOps processes according to industry best practices.

In this role, you will implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), support secure software development, work with GitOps methodologies, operate in disconnected/air-gapped environments, develop automation scripts, and build robust CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate closely with development teams and other disciplines to streamline and improve processes across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable DevOps processes and infrastructure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (preferably with Jenkins or Azure DevOps).
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Support and promote secure development practices (DevSecOps).
• Work according to GitOps methodologies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
• Work in disconnected/air-gapped environments when required.
• Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to improve processes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems and pipelines in production and pre-production environments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer – must.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines – must.
• Preference for Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience with Git for configuration and source control – must.
• Strong scripting skills – must:
• Batch / PowerShell (PS1) / Groovy / Bash / Python.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments – must.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containers – must.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift (OCP) / RKE – must.

Advantages

• Experience with IaC configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience working with Helm.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and tools (secure development).
• Good understanding of GitOps principles.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field – significant advantage.
