Job Description: Compliance Officer 

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel 

Reports to: CEO 

Department: Compliance

About the Role: 

We are seeking a sharp-minded and experienced professional in the field of compliance to join the company’s management team. 

This is a dynamic, high-impact core position, responsible for managing the Compliance Department in a stable and growing financial company. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage the daily operations of the compliance team, ensuring performance, quality, and timelines. 
• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of operational compliance processes, including KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions, reporting, onboarding, and more. 
• Serve as a liaison between the compliance department and the product, sales, and operations teams to ensure regulatory integration into company products. 
• Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and propose practical solutions. 
• Build dashboards, internal procedures, and training materials for the team. 
• Conduct training sessions for clients and company employees. 
• Maintain relationships with regulatory and governmental bodies. 
• Coordinate internal audits, regulatory reviews, and ongoing reporting to authorities. 

Requirements: 

• Relevant academic degree (a law degree is an advantage) 
• For lawyers – minimum of 3 years of practical experience (required) 
• Experience in financial compliance, AML/CFT (anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing), or regulatory operations – advantage 
• For non-law degree holders – minimum of 4 years of practical experience in financial compliance, AML/CFT, or regulatory operations 
• Background in fintech, financial services, payments, money transfers, or banking – strong advantage 
• Operational thinking and process improvement orientation 
• Excellent writing and analytical skills 
• Independent, execution-oriented, team player with leadership qualities 
• High-level Hebrew and English
