Senior Low-Level Software Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure (Hybrid, Haifa Area)

A cutting-edge R&D team is looking for a senior low-level engineer to take a key role in developing a high-performance, scalable distributed cloud platform. This position is ideal for experienced system-level developers who thrive in deep technical work, performance optimization, and complex low-level challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core low-level, object-oriented software in C within a highly multithreaded environment.
• Lead system-level development across performance, memory management, concurrency, and reliability.
• Participate end-to-end in architecture, design, implementation, debugging, and optimization.
• Work on a unique distributed system requiring uncompromising speed and robustness.
• Collaborate with a top-tier engineering team in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Requirements

• B.Sc./B.A. in Computer Science or Software Engineering/Electronics
• Proven senior-level experience in low-level system programming.
• Proficiency in C or C++.
• Strong hands-on experience in Linux environments (user-space and system-level).
• Expertise in multithreaded development, performance tuning, and resource management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities in Hebrew and English.
• Independent, creative, and detail-oriented team player.
