Job Description:
• Management and ongoing operation of backup systems based on Veeam.
• Planning and execution of backup and disaster recovery (DR) policies.
• Monitoring and investigating malfunctions in backup systems and providing real-time solutions.
• Working with additional IT teams for integration and performance improvement.
• Performing restore tests to ensure backup integrity.
• Documenting work processes, creating regular reports, and producing recommendations for improvement.
• Managing and defining retention policies and data archiving according to organizational needs.
• Working with monitoring and analysis tools to identify malfunctions and improve backup performance.
• Participation in cross-organizational technology projects to improve backup and recovery systems.
Job Requirements:
• At least two years of experience working with VEEAM Backup & Replication.
• Knowledge in managing and operating virtualization systems (VMware).
• Experience with storage systems (Storage) – significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Experience working with BCP, DR environments – advantage.
• Ability to work independently, responsibility, and good interpersonal skills.
