Assistant Controller

AIR is a leading dual-use aerospace OEM  in the production of advanced eVTOL aircraft for uncrewed cargo logistics and FAA-certified piloted flight. We are hiring an Assistant Controller to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will report to the CFO and be engaged in all financial activities in the company in Israel and abroad. 

Location: Kfar Yona

Position: Full-time, temporary position with option to become permanent

Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly and quarterly financial closing process, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist in preparing the company’s financial statements
• Work closely with the Controller on consolidation activities and reporting
• Collaborate with external auditors and advisors 
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes and Assist in preparing monthly budget reports, financial forecasts and analysis
• Collect, analyze, and prepare financial information for management and investor presentations
• Ensure financial reporting and related work processes consider and address relevant U.S. GAAP requirements
• Coordinate with the bookkeeper and external payroll controller as needed
• Assist in managing the financial operations of the US subsidiary
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, with a focus on Inventory and Fixed Assets
• Support implementation and maintenance of internal controls, financial policies, and processes
• Participate in the improvement and automation of financial systems and workflows

Requirements

• CPA, with experience from a Big 4 accounting firm -  Mandatory
• Experience with Inventory and Fixed Assets accounting processes – Advantage
• Up to two years of experience after internship – Advantage
• Strong Excel skills
