A leading and stable defense company in Netanya, operating in Israeli and international defense and aerospace markets, is seeking a PMO Team Lead. This is a key leadership role involving management of a project management team, responsibility for cross-organizational projects, and close collaboration with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The company develops and manufactures rugged engineering solutions in advanced power supply and communication systems, designed for mission-critical applications in challenging field and environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a PMO team, including matrix management across multiple organizational interfaces.
• Develop deep understanding of customers, internal processes, and business needs.
• Participate in customer requirement prioritization, understanding needs, gaps, and conflicts.
• Define and refine departmental specifications and methodologies for current and future projects.
• Monitor changes and risks within project plans, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve and prevent issues.
• Work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders in Israel and abroad.
• Track project progress, consolidate data, and manage schedules, budgets, deliverables, and outputs.
• Utilize project management systems such as MS Project, Priority, and additional tools.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management – must
• 4–5 years of experience in project management – must
• 2–3 years of experience as a team leader / PMO team lead – must
• High-level English (spoken, read, written) – must
• Proven experience leading projects, including data consolidation and progress tracking – must
• Experience working with MS Project – must
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a team player with solid managerial capabilities
