Overview
Nominis is seeking an experienced Chief Business Officer (CBO) with a proven background in blockchain SaaS sales to lead all revenue-generating operations. This executive will own the entire pipeline—lead generation, marketing, sales, partnerships, and revenue strategy—with the mandate to rapidly scale Nominis through a data-driven and disciplined go-to-market approach.
This is a founding-level leadership role with equity-based compensation, ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to build a category-defining company.
Key Responsibilities1. Pipeline Ownership & Revenue Growth- Own the revenue pipeline from top of funnel to contract closure.
- Architect scalable lead-gen systems tailored to blockchain and web3 markets.
- Build predictable revenue models and quarterly sales forecasts.
- Identify new monetization opportunities, verticals, and market segments.
- Bring deep experience selling SaaS into blockchain, web3, or decentralized tech ecosystems.
- Open doors with crypto-native companies, L1/L2 ecosystems, protocols, exchanges, and infrastructure providers.
- Build enterprise sales motions tailored to technical and compliance-heavy blockchain clients.
- Lead high-stakes negotiation cycles with partners and enterprise customers.
- Build and oversee Nominis’s go-to-market playbook for blockchain SaaS.
- Develop messaging and brand positioning for founders, VCs, and crypto-native buyers.
- Drive demand-generation campaigns centered on thought leadership, performance marketing, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Ensure sales, marketing, and product maintain tight alignment across the funnel.
- Implement tools, automation, and CRM infrastructure for aggressive growth.
- Run experiments across acquisition, nurture, and conversion to improve retention and LTV.
- Build dashboards that provide real-time visibility into performance metrics.
- Build strategic relationships with blockchain networks, accelerators, venture firms, and ecosystem foundations.
- Explore co-marketing, integrations, and channel partnerships to accelerate acquisition.
- Hire and lead high-performance teams across sales, marketing, growth, and partnerships.
- Create a culture of ownership, performance, and transparent communication.
- 5+ years in blockchain or Web3 SaaS sales, GTM, or revenue leadership.
- Track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets in early-stage environments.
- Strong network in crypto-native ecosystems (protocols, infrastructure, tooling, exchanges, VCs).
- Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, tokens, and decentralized tech.
- Experience building and scaling sales and marketing teams.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
This role offers equity-based compensation with significant upside tied to performance and company growth. Additional incentives may include milestone-based equity vesting, performance bonuses, and token allocations if applicable.
Preferred- Prior C-suite or VP-level experience in blockchain SaaS.
- Experience growing revenue from zero → multi-million ARR.
- Familiarity with AI-powered SaaS or creative/production tech is a plus.
