Aerospace Engineer

A cutting-edge startup located in Yokneam, developing an advanced hydrogen-powered VTOL aircraft, is seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Job Description:

• Conduct performance analysis for flight systems, including aircraft dynamics and aerodynamic modeling.
• Develop, run, and validate multidisciplinary flight simulations (flight mechanics, aerodynamics, control).
• Design and tune control loops, with a focus on hover-to-cruise transition.
• Work closely with software, electrical, and mechanical teams to integrate models, algorithms, and control components into the full system.
• Support planning and execution of flight tests, as well as data analysis.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) with flight systems, aerodynamic modeling, and performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of flight mechanics, aircraft dynamics, and flight control.
• Experience developing or using simulation environments such as MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent analytical tools.

Strong Advantages:

• In-depth familiarity with Pixhawk flight controllers.
• Hands-on experience with VTOL platforms, including flight testing, control tuning, and mode transitions.
• Knowledge of electric propulsion systems, including motors, ESCs, and batteries.
