System Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced System Team Leader to join a leading organization. This role involves leading a team of 5 members (50%) while also being hands-on (50%). As the team leader, you will be responsible for driving the team towards excellence, fostering technological innovation, serving as a knowledge resource, providing professional guidance, and leading complex technological projects.

Job Description:

• Planning, implementing, innovating, and maintaining VMware-based virtual infrastructures.
• Managing and leading cross-organizational technological projects, including the operation of two active data-center facilities.
• Managing the organization’s storage infrastructures in an Active-Active configuration.
• Identifying and implementing automations to improve processes.
• Responsibility for the organization’s backup systems and operation of enterprise update-distribution systems.
• Operation and maintenance of Microsoft-based systems, including a full O365 environment.
• Operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s monitoring and control systems.
• Leading cross-organizational projects, including expanding the cloud layer (AWS/Azure).
• Writing and analyzing existing and new architectures.
• Managing a team of 5 people, including mentoring, professional development, and performance evaluation (50% hands-on).

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in the field, including a minimum of 3 years in system team management – mandatory.
• Deep proficiency in VMware and Microsoft infrastructures (with emphasis on O365) – mandatory.
• Extensive experience managing SAN/NAS infrastructures – mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with enterprise backup systems – mandatory.
• Experience leading technological projects, writing architectures, and producing technical documentation – mandatory.
• Experience working in Active-Active environments – advantage.
• Knowledge of Linux-based systems – advantage.
• Experience with IBM AS400 systems – advantage.
• Significant advantage: experience and familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructures.
• Experience with microservices, containers, and process automation – advantage.

• תפעול ותחזוקה של מערכות מבוססות מיקרוסופט, כולל סביבת 365 מלאה
• תפעול, תחזוקה ושיפור מתמיד של מערכות השו"ב בארגון
• הובלת פרויקטים חוצי ארגון, הכוללים הרחבת שכבת הענן (AWS/AZURE)
• כתיבה וניתוח של ארכיטקטורות קיימות וחדשות
• ניהול צוות של 5 אנשים, חניכה, פיתוח מקצועי והערכת ביצועים (50% HO)
