Data Team Lead

A fashion e-commerce company is seeking a hands-on Data Team Lead to manage and grow their data platform and lead a small, expanding team.

The company has 100 employees in Israel and hundreds worldwide.

The offices are located in Ramat Gan, with a hybrid model including two work-from-home days per week.

Requirements-

• 6 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields, including at least 2 years in a managerial or technical leadership role.
• Proven experience designing and operating modern data architectures (Batch + Streaming) in the cloud.
• Expertise in SQL and strong proficiency in Python.
• Deep understanding of data modeling (dimensional models – Kimball, Data Vault, wide tables).
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow/Prefect), transformations (DBT), and CI/CD using Git.
• Production experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with data quality and monitoring tools (dbt tests, Great Expectations/Soda, Lineage).
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers and VP of Analytics, including understanding BI/semantic layers (Looker/LookML, dbt metrics, Lightdash, AtScale).
