QC Analyst

Position Summary:

Perform QC testing of products, components, and raw materials according to predefined methods and work instructions within a regulated Medical Device environment. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Assist with QA-related administrative activities. Carry out ongoing QC laboratory tasks while ensuring proper operation and maintenance of analytical instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform QC inspections, including:

○ Incoming inspection of raw materials, including NMR and HPLC testing and analysis

○ In-process control tests during production

○ Final product testing

• Execute analytical chemistry methods for existing and new products

• Perform analytical methods for identifying and quantifying impurities and residues

• Operate laboratory instruments, including HPLC, rheology, extrusion, and spectrophotometers

• Collaborate with production, QA, subcontractors, and external laboratories

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment

Required qualifications

(including education, previous training, skills, and experience, whichever are applicable):

• 0–2 years of experience in a laboratory environment (GMP or GLP experience preferred).

• Basic familiarity with HPLC and other analytical instrumentation (training will be provided).

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word).

• Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
