Network Engineer

A successful startup that has developed an RF-based wireless communication system for algorithmic trading.

The offices are located in Tel Aviv, with a hybrid model including two work-from-home days per week.

Role overview-

• Work as part of the Field & Network Operations team, combining deep technical problem-solving (Tier 4) with hands-on tasks at global client sites.
• Operate and maintain the company’s core RF-based communication infrastructure, ensuring network stability and speed.
• Perform on-site deployments, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RF/Network/Linux-based systems at international client locations.
• Support the NOC with configurations, analysis, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with R&D teams on system-level issues and troubleshooting.
• Conduct fieldwork, including deployment, operation, and validation of communication sites and links at global locations.
• Handle client-site technical issues and provide operational support.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of experience in networking, field engineering, or Tier 3/4 support roles in communication and infrastructure.
• Strong networking skills, including configuration and troubleshooting of switches/routers, and solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP/IP, VPN, and NAT.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, RF, software, and network systems.
• Familiarity with Python scripting.
• Background in hardware, including antennas, RF equipment, and basic electrical infrastructure (PDU, UPS).
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%).
