A successful high-tech company specializing in facial recognition is looking for a DevOps Engineer

Location: Holon – Full-time – Hybrid (working from the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)

Role Responsibilities:

• Design, automate, and manage complex, multi-region AWS infrastructure using Terraform (create, maintain, and use).
• Collaborate closely with development teams on architecture design, resource planning, feature requests, and root-cause analysis to ensure efficient and reliable product delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and debugging complex production issues across microservices, EKS, and IoT Greengrass environments.
• Implement and manage a GitOps workflow using ArgoCD for automated, controlled, and auditable deployments of microservices to Kubernetes.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to manage pipelines, automated versioning, and promotions across multiple environments (development, staging, production).
• Implement and manage solutions for fast-response services, including advanced load balancing, auto-scaling, and service discovery.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Proven experience working collaboratively with development teams on design, troubleshooting, and support.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex, distributed systems.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, especially EKS, EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, and IAM.
• Experience with AWS IoT services (Greengrass, IoT Core) and managing infrastructure for connected devices.
• Proven experience with Terraform – building and managing production-grade infrastructure as code.
• Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, including automated versioning and environment promotion.
• Hands-on experience with GitOps principles and tools, specifically ArgoCD, for managing Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience implementing and managing monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Deep operational knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster management, networking, and scaling microservices.
• Experience supporting fast-response, highly available production systems for growing products.
• Solid experience with multi-region architecture and deployment strategies.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
