We are looking for an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team and help us get to the next level. If you have the right attitude and skills, we invite you to hop on board this bullet train. 

In this role, you will: 

1. Lead the design, development, and optimization of microservices tailored for the scalable processing of high volumes of network communication data.
2. Collaborate with experienced engineers to architect distributed & scalable data processing solutions that backbone our Rail Tech Security Platform, CylusOne.
3. Collaborate with the brightest network researchers to productize our cybersecurity threat detection & network analysis features.
4. Apply advanced software engineering principles to optimize code performance, scalability, and resource utilization across microservices & algorithms.
5. Develop in Go while leveraging a cutting-edge technology stack 
6. Truly have fun coming to work every day 

Requirements: 

1. 6+ years of experience,  specifically in building and maintaining scalable & complex software systems.
2. Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-quality products
3. Tech-savvy, always up-to-date with best practices and latest technology developments
4. Proven ownership: thoughtful design, realistic estimates, and consistent delivery.
5. Proven experience in using and integrating AI into daily tasks
6. Love to take on creative tasks, have end-to-end ownership, and work collaboratively to advance our mission and business goals 

Advantages:

• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, sockets, latency/throughput basics).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Deep understanding of Microservices and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with Golang and c/c++
• Experience with cloud environments
• Experience working in Linux environment
