Frontend Team Leader

A high-tech Cyber company that has developed a software solution helping telecom companies increase their network capacity at lower costs.

The company is located in central Israel, employs hundreds globally most of them in Israel and offers a hybrid work model. It is a unicorn that recently raised a large Series C round.

The role involves managing a team of 4 developers with 50% hands-on work. Tech stack: React, Cloud, Microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead & mentor a frontend team of 4+ developers (50% hands-on).
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components, design systems, and frontend tooling.
• Architect and optimize UI frameworks for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with development teams, QA, Product Managers, and UI/UX Designers.
• Define and enforce frontend best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize DOM/UI performance.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Stay updated with industry trends and drive UI innovation.

Key Requirements:

• 6+ years frontend experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, React).
• 3+ years leading a development team, including mentoring and technical guidance.
• Expertise in React and Microfrontend architectures.
• Strong frontend performance optimization skills.
• Experience in unit, component, and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
• Experience with Storybook or similar component-driven development tools.
• Knowledge of frontend security best practices (XSS, CORS, OAuth, JWT).
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time.
• Hands-on mentality, actively participating in code, architecture, and debugging.
• Adaptable and collaborative in fast-paced environments.
