Senior C++ Developer

EMG-Soft is seeking an experienced Senior C++ Developer to join a cutting-edge medical device project. The role involves end-to-end embedded development on microcontrollers and UI development for a touch-screen interface using Qt/QML.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of embedded software components in C++ for a regulated medical device.
• Design and implement efficient, reliable, and maintainable code running on microcontroller-based hardware.
• Develop and optimize a touch-screen user interface using Qt/QML.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, algorithms, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and development processes aligned with IEC 62304 and other medical standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance on resource-constrained devices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development (modern C++ preferred).
• Strong background in embedded systems and development on microcontrollers.
• Experience developing touch-screen UIs using Qt/QML.
• Practical experience with low-level development, drivers, and hardware/software integration.
• Strong debugging skills and performance optimization abilities.
• Experience working in the medical device industry – an advantage.
