Weapons Systems Engineer | [Location] | Elta Division

Join a leading technology team at Elta Division, contributing to the development and integration of advanced autonomous combat systems.

The position includes:

• Leading weapons system engineering and integration into autonomous combat systems, from isolated subsystems to multi-mission fire control capabilities.

• Understanding the problem domain, defining solutions and required system architecture, and overseeing detailed engineering design, development, integration, testing, and serial production readiness.

• Collecting, analyzing, and refining customer requirements and translating them into system specifications.

• Conducting technology surveys, exploring leading-edge solutions, and initiating ideas that evolve into products.

• Defining system processes and interfaces between different subsystems and the overall weapons system.

• Writing complex concepts, technical specifications, requirement documents, and multi-system design documentation.

• Guiding subcontractors and monitoring their deliverables.

• Collaborating in a matrix structure with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Leading the integration of isolated subsystems into the complete mission system.

• Leading laboratory and field testing.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering – required

• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering – significant advantage

• At least 7 years of experience in system engineering and system specification

• Background in weapons systems – required

• Experience in system engineering for aerial or mobile platforms – significant advantage
