Warhead & Energetics Development Team Lead

Our Missiles & Space Systems Division is seeking a Team Lead to head the group responsible for warhead and energetics design across a wide range of missile and munition products. This is a senior engineering role with end-to-end ownership of technical delivery, project execution and team leadership in a high-impact defense environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for warhead and energetics design.
• Lead project planning, scheduling and progress control for warhead-related programs.
• Produce and manage work plans, budgets and technical schedules.
• Oversee preparation of manufacturing and assembly drawings, technical specifications and test plans.
• Lead development of performance calculations and analyses for warhead designs.
• Define and supervise test programs and support field trials.
• Coordinate engineering activities with manufacturing, quality, suppliers and customers.
• Provide technical leadership in reviews and liaise with subcontractors and external partners.

Requirements:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerodynamics, or closely related discipline – mandatory.
• MSc or advanced degree – advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in warhead/energetics design and development – mandatory.
• Proficiency with CAD tools – mandatory.
• Experience in performance calculations for munitions – advantage.
• Experience in simulation, modeling and engineering analyses – advantage.
• Proven project leadership experience – advantage.
• High level of technical English (speaking, reading, writing) – mandatory.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, safety-focused environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
