We are now forming our founding engineering team - the group that will shape the product, the culture, and the engineering standards.

About the role

You’ll own backend development across the core product experience: You will also lead a lot of the infrastructure work: cloud setup, CI/CD, observability, deployments, IaC, and security.

What you’ll do

• Design and build backend services (APIs, data pipelines, microservices)
• Define system architecture, storage strategies, and operational design
• Own AWS infra (or equivalent): networking, scaling, production setup, security
• Influence product direction and technical decisions from day one

Who you are

• 4+ years experience building production backend systems
• Strong experience with AWS or similar cloud environment
• Solid grasp of distributed systems, REST APIs, event-driven flows, and data modeling
• Comfortable with CI/CD, containers (Docker), Kubernetes, env configs, monitoring
• Languages are flexible - but experience with Go is a plus
• Self-sufficient, fast learner, thrives in early-stage chaos. Build fast and interate
