Director of Research Development

A leading and rapidly growing Cyber company employs several hundred people and is based in Tel Aviv, near the train line, operating a hybrid work model with three days in the office.

The role involves managing the company’s research department, which comprises around 20 employees organized into three teams, including three team leads and a principal. The teams consist of Data Scientists, Cyber and Network Researchers, and Infrastructure and AI Engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Define the research and innovation strategy for the company.
• Oversee development pipelines from research to production.
• Bridge research with development and product teams.
• Collaborate with senior management to set long-term technological directions.
• Provide leadership in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, LLMs, and Cybersecurity.
• Apply hands-on expertise in Python, AWS, EMR, Bedrock, SageMaker, Airflow, and system architecture.
• Lead a team expected to grow significantly, driving strategic and impactful initiatives.

Requirements-

• 10 years of experience in Data Science
• 5 years of senior management experience, leading 20+ employees
• 7 years of experience in cybersecurity research with significant expertise in one or more specialized areas.
• Strong background in Cybersecurity or Networking
