MagenAI is a cybersecurity startup based in Tel Aviv, protecting organizations from data leaks and security risks caused by GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude, etc.).

We help enterprises monitor, control, and secure AI usage across their workforce — without slowing down productivity.

We already work with large organizations and public institutions, and we are entering a strong growth phase.

We are now looking for a Co-Founder & CTO to join the founding team.

As the CTO and co-founder, you will lead all technical and product decisions, build the initial architecture, manage security and scalability, and grow the engineering team as we expand.

This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor, shape the vision, and build a cybersecurity product used by thousands of enterprise users.

• Define and own the product’s technical architecture
• Lead development of our GenAI security platform (backend + integrations + agents/extensions)
• Build and manage a small engineering team
• Implement secure coding practices and robust cloud architecture
• Oversee DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and performance
• Work directly with enterprise customers and security teams
• Contribute to fundraising activities and strategic decisions
• Drive innovation and ensure we remain ahead in AI security

✔️ 10+ years in cybersecurity (AppSec, cloud security, or infrastructure security)

✔️ Strong experience in cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization, and scalable architectures

✔️ Proven ability to lead engineering and ship production-ready SaaS products

✔️ Solid background in backend development (Node.js / Python / Go preferred)

✔️ Hands-on understanding of DLP, IAM, SSO, policies, enterprise security, or compliance

✔️ Leadership experience (team lead, architect, head of engineering, etc.)

• Experience building browser extensions, proxies, or security agents
• Knowledge of LLMs / AI architecture
• Startup or early-stage experience
• Experience selling into enterprise or working with CISOs
