Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer | Lod, Central District | IAI – Aviation Division

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join IAI’s Aviation Division.

The position includes:

• Supporting design processes – identifying potential issues, defining design-for-manufacturing and cost-efficiency guidelines, and integrating them into advanced design stages

• Defining manufacturing and inspection processes, including material specifications

• Designing jigs and tools to improve assembly quality and optimize processes

• Pricing work packages – building cost models and estimating labor hours

• Preparing work instructions using CAD tools, 3D models, images, and written guidelines

• Leading PRR processes with internal and external customers

• Managing day-to-day production and assembly issues

Requirements:

• Practical or B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering – required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design with hands-on work in manufacturing and assembly processes – required

• Proficiency in CAD software (NX / Teamcenter / Unigraphics) – advantage

• Experience in process improvement and efficiency methods (e.g., LEAN) – advantage

• Familiarity with aviation standards – advantage

• High-level English proficiency – required
