Information Security Specialist

hms Consulting is recruiting an experienced Information Security Specialist with proven knowledge and experience in managing and implementing information security solutions.

About the Role: Lead the implementation of information security policies, procedures, and risk

management methodologies in medium to large organizations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Information Security Specialist/Implementation expert
• Project management and leadership capabilities
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Proven hands-on experience with Fortigate firewalls
• Familiarity with information security tools (at least 2 vendors from each category): EDR, NAC, content and application filtering, email filtering, WAF, VPN
• Knowledge of cloud environments and Microsoft 365 security
• Operating system security expertise
• Application security knowledge
• Understanding of networking infrastructure, routers, and switches
• Experience managing and leading penetration tests (PT) and security assessments, including risk mitigation
