We are seeking an experienced and driven Cloud Operations Manager to lead the FinOps domain within a large government organization.
The successful candidate will manage operational processes and oversee team members in a matrix structure, with a strong focus on economic aspects and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technological and infrastructural processes related to cloud technologies within the organization.
- Evaluate existing technologies in the Israeli and global markets and recommend upgrades or replacements.
- Develop an annual procurement strategy for technologies and infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize FinOps processes, overseeing cloud resource cost control.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cloud economics management and/or cloud architecture, with a minimum of 4 years in a technology management role.
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud services is mandatory.
- Experience managing projects or technology operations with budgets exceeding 10 million shekels.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
