AI Engineer

A successful high-tech company developing advanced technologies in wireless communication, smart sensing, and artificial intelligence for software and semiconductor domains.

The company is located in central Israel (with shuttles from the train station) and offers a hybrid work model with two days per week from home. It employs around 500 people globally, including approximately 350 in Israel.

Role overview -

• Designs and implements next-generation coding assistants and intelligent developer tools.
• Architects agentic AI systems integrating LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and orchestration frameworks.
• Leads end-to-end design of LLM-based agent systems and retrieval pipelines.
• Develops and optimizes RAG frameworks for internal documentation and C/C++ codebases.
• Implements tool-calling and orchestration capabilities.
• Drives fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment of AI models.
• Builds prototypes and plans their transition to full-scale production.
• Collaborates closely with software, compiler, and SDK teams.
• Conducts research in artificial intelligence.

Requirements-

• Relevant BSc degree.
• Experience with agentic AI or LLM-based systems.
• Knowledge of RAG methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python and LLM orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
• Experience in fine-tuning or training code-focused models.
• Previous experience with Python, AI copilots, or developer productivity tools – an advantage.
• Background in C/C++ toolchains, compiler extensions, or performance optimization – an advantage.
