Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical & Electronics)

About the role

Our MELAT plant, part of the Defense Aircraft Division, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical & Electronics) to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing technological and manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies, while influencing and guiding product design for manufacturability. You will support production activities from early development stages through to full-scale manufacturing, lead and participate in design reviews, and collaborate with design engineering teams, subcontractors, and production floors.

The position involves close cooperation with various interfaces, including engineering, production, quality, tooling, program management, customers, and suppliers—both in Israel and abroad.

What we’re looking fo

• rB.Sc. or Practical Engineer in Electrical Engineering – Require
• dMinimum 3 years of experience in production process design, assembly planning, and engineering support on production floors – Require
• dExperience with manufacturing and integration of electrical harnesses, coax cables, and electrical boxes for airborne systems – Advantag
• eFluent English (spoken, reading, and writing) – Require
• dAt least 3 years of aerospace industry experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Tooling Designer – Advantag
• eProficiency with advanced CAD tools – Require
• dKnowledge of NX/UG design software – Advantag
• eFamiliarity with electrical harness design tools such as Harnesys – Advantag
• eExperience in writing work instructions and process sheets in SAP – Significant advantag
• eWillingness to travel abroad for training, production support, and technical audit
