RT Embedded Systems Developer

Real Time Group, LTD., is looking for a skilled Infrastructure Developer for Embedded Hard Real-Time (RT) systems.

In this role, you will take part in developing core infrastructure for advanced airborne and mission-critical platforms. You will work closely with hardware components, various processors, and real-time operating systems to deliver highly reliable and high-performance solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop software for Embedded Hard Real-Time systems.
• Work with diverse processors and low-level hardware environments.
• Write and integrate C/C++ code, including driver development and communication protocol implementations.
• Analyze and define software requirements, write documentation, and perform unit and integration tests.
• Conduct optimization and system-level integration work.
• Experience with Bare Metal environments and real-time operating systems.
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields – required.
• Experience working with Hard Real-Time operating systems – required.
• Strong motivation, system-oriented thinking, teamwork abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills – required.
• Experience working with hardware devices, communication interfaces, and communication protocols – advantage.
• Experience in development, integration, and hardware testing for RT/Embedded systems – advantage.
• Ability to independently lead a development process from requirements definition through testing and customer deployment – advantage.
• Experience writing technical development documents – advantage.
• Experience beyond driver development, including software layer design: low-level hardware access, OS integration, and API layer development for application access to hardware and system services – advantage.
