Clinical Supply Manager

Description

planning, coordinating, and overseeing the supply chain of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) and clinical trial materials/ ancillaries.

• Supply Chain Planning

o Develop and execute supply strategies for clinical trials

o Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overages.

• Vendor Management

o Collaborate with CMO, CRO, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.

o Act as the primary liaison between clinical operations, manufacturing, and quality teams.

o Keep oversight of vendor activities and performance

• Logistics & Distribution

o Oversee packaging, labeling, and distribution of IMPs to global trial sites.

o Ensure temperature-controlled shipments where required.

• Risk Management

o Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.

o Manage returns, and destruction of expired or unused products where required

• IT and Systems

o Experience with Interactive Response Technology (IRT/RTSM) systems and supply forecasting tools.

o contribute to system set up and advice on depot supply and resupply parameters.
