Team Leader-Satellite Communication Systems

We're looking for a Team Leader for Satellite Communication Systems for our Space Division (MBT)

The Position includes:

• Lead a team of communication systems engineers working on satellite and radio systems, including the development of space-grade RF and microwave modules.
• Own the full technical lifecycle: architecture, hardware and mechanical design, integration, testing, and delivery (including FAT/SAT in Israel and abroad).
• Analyze satellite link budgets and ensure communication availability.
• Manage cross-functional interfaces with RF, software, antenna, mechanical, thermal, calibration, and production teams.
• Conduct internal and customer-facing Design Reviews.
• Interface with subcontractors and ensure project delivery.
• Define system requirements and support multidisciplinary R&D teams.
• Write and present technical reports.
• Lead and support system-level experiments and field tests, both locally and internationally.

What are we looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering – must
• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering, Physics, or Electronics – advantage
• 12+ years in systems/hardware/RF/antenna/EW engineering
• 5+ years leading a technological team in RF or SATCOM
• Experience in satellite and wireless communication – strong advantage
• Hands-on knowledge of digital modulation: QPSK, BPSK, FEC, TDMA/CDMA
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and system troubleshooting
• Strong leadership, task delegation, and engineering process management
• Experience integrating SATCOM systems and ground stations
• Military tech unit background – advantage
