Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Financial Controller to join Geckos Games and work directly with our CFO. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA early in their career to deepen their financial expertise, support core accounting and operational finance processes, and contribute to our fast-paced expansion in the U.S. market.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and coordinate with the external bookkeeping team.
• Manage monthly & quarterly close cycles and prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Handle payment processors & operational finance: PSP reconciliation, cash-flow monitoring, transaction accuracy, and process optimization.
• Support external audits, US tax filings, and statutory reporting.
• Build dashboards and financial models in Excel and Power BI / AI tools to support financial analysis and decision-making.
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems and tools, including ongoing ownership of Priority ERP.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, and compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For

• CPA certification required
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a tech company or startup
• strong Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI and AI tools
• Knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to U.S. tax processes are considered an advantage
• Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
• Tech-savvy with a passion for improving processes and workflows
• Thrives in a fast-moving, growth-oriented startup environment
• High-level English required
