Monetization Operations Manager

Game Story is a fast-growing mobile game startup that provides entertainment to users across the universe.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Monetization Operations Manager to be the crucial link in our LiveOps content pipeline. This role is responsible for taking the high-level monetization calendar and translating it into a set of clear, actionable tasks for our various stakeholders, ensuring all LiveOps content is delivered on time and to specification.

You will be the engine that drives our content from concept to launch.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate between Monetization, Art, Economy, and Engineering teams.
• Break down LiveOps plans (events, offers, campaigns) into detailed tasks.
• Create creative and technical briefs for Art and Economy teams.
• Track dependencies and prevent production bottlenecks.
• Manage LiveOps workflow and tracking in monday.com
• Monitor the LiveOps calendar daily, ensuring all teams are on track to meet deployment dates.
• Run regular (daily/weekly) stand-ups or sync meetings with Art and Economy leads to review task status, manage scope creep, and mitigate risks.
• Review final assets and configurations for full alignment with the monetization plan

Qualifications

Must-Haves-

• 1+ year of experience in B2C Project Management, Operations, or Production.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to translate high-level business plans into actionable, technical production tasks.
• High proficiency in project management tools (especially monday.com).
• Fluent English and familiarity with US gaming culture/terminology.

Nice-to-Haves-

• Experience in a gaming company (strong advantage).
• Experience in Skill Gaming or competitive mobile games.
• Familiarity with game economy concepts (e.g., virtual currency balancing, offer creation).
• Familiarity with mobile game art production workflows.
