• Desired Role: Senior Oracle Applicative Developer with deep expertise in database performance tuning.
• Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in developing and maintaining Oracle-based systems.
• Teamwork & Collaboration:
• Strong ability to work as part of a development team, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (including C#/Web teams).
• Ability to understand code written in other languages (significant advantage for candidates with C# knowledge) to identify system-level bottlenecks across both application and database layers.
• Initiative & Ownership: A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, suggests performance improvements, and consistently meets deadlines and quality standards.

• Advanced Proficiency: Deep and comprehensive mastery of PL/SQL and SQL.
• Packages & Procedures:
• Expert in developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex Procedures and Packages.
• Ability to implement efficient, scalable business logic directly within the database.
• SQL Mastery:
• Extensive experience with complex queries including Window Functions, CTEs, and transaction management.
• Batch Processing:
• Hands-on experience designing long-running, mission-critical batch processes while ensuring high stability and performance.
• No Web Development Required.

• SQL Tuning:
• Skilled in analyzing and optimizing slow or business-critical queries.
• Strong ability to read and interpret Execution Plans.
• Strategic use of indexes (including functional and multi-column).
• Identifying and resolving locks, contention, and session-level bottlenecks.
• PL/SQL Tuning:
• Optimization of loops, I/O operations, and procedural logic to improve runtime and reduce CPU/I/O consumption.
• Monitoring Tools:
• Hands-on experience with AWR, TKPROF, and other advanced Oracle performance diagnostics tools.

• Application Code Understanding:
• Practical/theoretical understanding of server-side application structure (C# is a strong advantage), enabling:
• Effective technical communication with application developers.
• Identification of performance issues caused by non-optimized application-to-database interactions.
• Database Architecture:
• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture (SGA, PGA, Redo Logs), statistics, and DB object behavior and how they impact performance.
