Credit Underwriter

A leading financing company in Tel Aviv (Ramat Hachayal) is seeking an experienced Credit Underwriter for a full-time position: Sunday-Thursday, 09:00-17:30 / 10:00-18:30, and alternating Fridays (work from home after training period) 09:00-14:00.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and approving personal and business credit applications

Preparing credit opinions for credit committees

Interfacing with other departments for credit application approval and working with management levels

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree - required

Master's degree - advantage

At least 3 years of experience in underwriting businesses and companies - required

At least 3 years of experience in reading and analyzing financial statements - required

At least 3 years of experience in underwriting based on consumer credit reports - required

Experience in underwriting high-value loans - required

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to work in a team

High service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
