Cloud Data Integration & Management Instructor (AWS, GCP) – Remote (Zoom)

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Data Integration & Management Instructor to lead an advanced, hands-on course focused on designing and operating modern data platforms in the cloud.

The course is delivered online via Zoom, once a week in the evening.

Role Overview

You will teach a practical course on data integration and data management in the cloud, with an emphasis on AWS and GCP, and exposure to Azure. The course combines theory with real-world examples and live demos, guiding students through building end-to-end data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Key Topics Covered in the Course

Introduction to leading cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure

Designing and building data pipelines and applying Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts

Working with advanced ETL / ELT tools such as Rivery and dbt

Data processing and analytics using BigQuery and AWS Data Services

Building dashboards and reports with Power BI, Looker Studio and QuickSight

Implementing end-to-end cloud data pipelines, including monitoring and optimization

Applying best practices in data management, security, governance and regulatory compliance in the cloud

Responsibilities

Deliver a structured, engaging lesson once a week via Zoom (evening session)

Prepare examples, demos and exercises based on real-world scenarios

Guide students in building practical cloud data solutions (hands-on focus)

Provide feedback, answer questions and support learners throughout the course

Continuously improve the syllabus based on industry trends and student feedback

Required Experience & Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, primarily AWS and GCP

Strong understanding of data architecture (Data Lake, DWH, DMs, pipelines)

Practical experience with ETL / ELT tools (preferably Rivery and/or dbt)

Experience with BigQuery and AWS data services (e.g., Redshift, Glue, Athena, etc.)

Experience building BI solutions with Power BI, Looker Studio and/or QuickSight

Solid knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance principles

Previous teaching, mentoring or training experience – an advantage

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
