Application Team Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Application Team Lead to take ownership of the engineering team that manages our CRM system and all core application services that power our lead funnel. This includes offer management, bidding logic, user-flow orchestration, routing, and integrations — the mission-critical backbone that drives the company’s operations.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and people management. You will set the technical direction, ensure high-quality delivery, and work closely with Product, Data, and AI teams to translate business needs into scalable, reliable solutions.

As the Application Team Lead, you will guide a team of backend and full-stack developers while remaining involved in the codebase. You’ll architect and evolve complex systems, drive engineering standards, and own the operational reliability of core services. This is a high-impact role for a technical leader who enjoys building robust systems and leading teams through growth and execution.

• Lead the engineering team responsible for the CRM platform and core application services.
• Own technical direction, system architecture, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance production systems.
• Oversee offer management, bidding logic, routing, user flows, and external/internal integrations.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and AI teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor developers, support professional growth, and guide execution and prioritization.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in coding, architecture, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure system quality, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering.
• Deep understanding of modern system architecture and distributed systems.
• Proven track record building scalable, reliable production systems.
• Ability to define long-term technical direction and lead architectural discussions.
• Strong business orientation — able to translate product requirements into strong technical plans.
• Experience working cross-functionally (Product, Data, AI).
• Ability to mentor developers, lead team execution, and build strong engineering culture.
• Hands-on coding skills (this is not a management-only position).

• Experience with experimentation platforms (feature flags, A/B testing, experimentation frameworks).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, monitoring & observability tools.
• Previous leadership experience (team lead, tech lead, or informal leadership).
• Background in AdTech or performance marketing environments.
