New Product Introduction Engineer (Electronics)

Role Description

We're hiring an experience NPI Engineer to join our electronics engineering team. The role involves managing the production, integration and testing of our digital circuits, wiring harnesses and additional electronics equipment. The NPI engineer will collaborate closely with subcontractors, as well as with cross-functional teams for product development, ensuring design for manufacturability, and validating production processes through rigorous testing. He or she will also oversee project timelines, coordinate between R&D, production and supply chain teams, and support the transition of projects from the design phase to mass production.

Qualifications

• Electrical/electronics engineer or practical engineer
• At least 5 years' experience in product engineering with significant knowledge of NPI processes for digital circuits
• Experience with failure analysis and complex trouble shooting
• Proficiency with testing and measuring equipment - DVM, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, power supplies etc.
• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP B1 / Priority or similar)
• Proficient with relevant software - PDM and Altium Designer - or similar
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
