Financial Controller - Retail Company

A leading and growing retail company is looking for a skilled and motivated Financial Controller with proven experience in managing financial projects and internal control processes. This is a high-impact, cross-organizational role involving operational, financial, and technological responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead finance-related projects, including planning, execution, and implementation of various financial initiatives.
• Report directly to the CFO, including preparation of control reports, identifying exceptions, maintaining interfaces, and implementing supporting systems.
• Oversee the organizational ERP system.
• Synchronize and integrate ERP with POS, BI, and operational systems.

Requirements:

• CPA certified (completion of Israel CPA board exams required).
• At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller in an operational company — preferably in retail or fashion, including full responsibility for period-end closings and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience in an operational or manufacturing environment.
• Previous work experience with Big 4 accounting firms.
• Proficiency in ERP, BI, and POS systems.
• Proven experience managing teams and/or leading projects.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• High-level English – reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and communication abilities.
• High level of accountability, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure.
