Java Developer

Antelope is a dynamic and innovative company, located in Ramat-Gan, and we're looking for a talented Junior Java Developer to join our growing team. If you're a recent graduate or have 1-2 years of experience and are ready to contribute to exciting projects, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and test efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle (concept, design, build, deploy, test, release).
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, QA) to define, design, and deploy new features.

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of professional software development experience using Java.
• Solid understanding of the Java ecosystem and its core principles, including OOP, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with common Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Working knowledge of SQL & relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with version control tools, specifically Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with Javascript, specifically with Angular– a major advantage.
