A successful startup in the Retail-tech domain, developing an automated, AI-driven platform that leverages advanced computer vision to accurately interpret in-store customer activity and streamline the shopping experience.
The company currently has around 150 employees, is centrally located in Tel Aviv near a train line, and offers a hybrid work model. With nearly $200M raised, the company is scaling rapidly.
Role overview -
- Managerial role leading a team of five developers
- Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering
- Includes approximately 30–40% hands-on development
- Development in Rust on Linux
- Working within a microservices architecture
- Technologies include Redis, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure currently on-prem, with a planned migration to the cloud
Requirements-
- One year of managerial experience
- 6 years of development experience
- Languages: C / C++ / Rust
- Linux environment
- Microservices architecture, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes
