About The Role

We are building a new "AI Catalyst" team to drive the next generation of Traild’s platform. As our Senior AI Engineer, you will be the technical architect behind our new "AI Fabric"—the infrastructure that will power our upcoming "Close Management" and "Contract Management" products.

You won’t just be tuning models; you will be building autonomous agents that can "read" contracts, "reason" about financial discrepancies, and "act" within our Go/GCP ecosystem. You will work closely with our VP of Product (Data & AI) to democratize these capabilities for the rest of the engineering team.

What You Will Do

• Build the "Brain": Design and implement agentic workflows (using tools like LangChain/LangGraph) that can reason, plan, and execute tasks for our new Close and Contract Management products.
• Architect the Infrastructure: Work with our backend engineers to build a reusable "AI Fabric" on GCP Vertex AI and Go, allowing other teams to easily consume AI capabilities (RAG, classification, extraction).
• Master the Context: Build robust RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines that allow our agents to accurately "chat" with complex vendor contracts and financial data without hallucinating.
• Bridge the Stack: Prototype complex agent behaviors in Python, then work to productionize high-performance components in Go.
• Democratize AI: Create internal SDKs and tooling that allow our feature teams to embed AI into their workflows easily.
• Collaborate: Partner with the Data Engineer to ensure our vector stores and data pipelines are optimized for agentic retrieval.
  
  

• Agentic Pioneer: You have hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications using frameworks like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGPT. You understand the difference between a chatbot and an agent.
• Polyglot Engineer: You are comfortable moving between Python (for AI/ML heavy lifting) and Go (for high-performance backend services).
• GCP Native: Experience with the Google Cloud ecosystem, specifically Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud Run.
• RAG Expert: You know how to chunk documents, manage vector databases (like pgvector), and optimize retrieval for accuracy.
• Curious Builder: You have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude and enjoy solving 0-to-1 problems in a scale-up environment.
