Senior Economist – Financial Sector | Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Economist to join the economic department of a leading financial company.

The department consists of a team of three economists, and we are looking for a strong professional to take a senior role and help drive key economic and financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and analyze financial and economic models
• Conduct profitability analysis, ROI calculations, and economic feasibility studies
• Perform valuations and support strategic decision-making
• Manage and monitor daily cash flow
• Work closely with banks, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Lead processes and support ongoing business activities
• Use BI and reporting systems to extract and analyze data

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree – advantage)
• At least 5 years of proven experience as an Economist/Analyst in a financial or banking organization (must)
• Strong financial and economic understanding
• High analytical and business orientation with excellent data skills
• Experience in financial modeling, valuations, ROI and profitability analysis
• Proficiency in Office tools; advanced Excel skills (Macros and SQL – advantage)
• Experience working with BI reporting tools – advantage
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle a dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
