Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer | Lod, Central District | IAI – Aviation Division

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the LAHAV Plant in IAI’s Aviation Division.

The position includes:

• Defining manufacturing and assembly infrastructures

• Writing work instructions and process documentation

• Preparing method cards and technical procedures

• Supporting production lines and solving manufacturing and assembly issues

• Leading and implementing technological improvements

• Managing product cost models for aeronautical products

• Working with suppliers and customers on production and integration aspects

• Operating within an ERP environment

• Building and maintaining MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) structures

• Managing transitions from development to production and supporting price quotations

• Meeting production targets in terms of schedule and cost

What we are looking for:

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment within the aerospace industry or similar – required

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models – required

• communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking) – required

• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP

• Familiarity with production and assembly processes – advantage

• Experience working with UG / CATIA software – advantage

• Willingness to travel abroad – advantage

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and handle complex challenges independently
