Job Overview
A leading AI-focused technology division is seeking a highly strategic and experienced AI-focused technology Senior Director of AI Product to define and execute its AI product vision. This role plays a central part in shaping the organization’s AI strategy, owning the end-to-end roadmap across hardware and software, and driving market success through deep customer insight, competitive differentiation, and strong partner ecosystems.
This position requires close collaboration with R&D, technology leadership, marketing, sales, and finance teams to accelerate AI-driven business growth and strengthen the company’s position in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio & Roadmap Leadership
- Own the full AI product portfolio, including NPU IP, software frameworks, and developer toolchains, overseeing roadmap definition, lifecycle management, and prioritization.
- Develop clear value propositions and differentiation strategies across verticals and use cases.
- Ensure alignment across architecture, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver products on time and at quality.
Customer, Market, and Competitive Insight
- Lead deep discovery of customer needs, application flows, and pain points across target industries.
- Continuously assess the competitive environment and benchmark against leading AI compute and IP solutions.
- Convert market insights into actionable product decisions and strategic priorities.
AI Strategy Development
- Partner with senior leadership to build and refine the organization’s AI strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and evolving industry trends.
- Collaborate with technology leaders to identify emerging technologies, use cases, and innovations that shape short- and long-term product direction.
- Contribute to strategic planning, investment prioritization, and business growth initiatives.
Market Positioning & Sales Enablement
- Define compelling product positioning and messaging that clearly conveys value and competitive advantages.
- Work closely with sales to create high-impact enablement materials, including product briefs, competitive guides, and customer presentations.
- Support strategic customer engagements, including technical discussions, pre-sales activities, and executive-level meetings.
- Represent the product vision at key industry events and customer forums.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of product management experience in the semiconductor, AI computing, or IP licensing industries.
- Proven success leading strategy for complex HW/SW product portfolios, ideally in AI accelerators, NPU IP, or edge AI solutions.
- Strong technical background spanning hardware, embedded software, and developer tools.
- Experience in strategic or business leadership roles within relevant technology sectors.
- Solid understanding of AI technologies, ML workflows, AI software ecosystems, and edge deployment across sectors such as automotive, robotics, industrial, and consumer devices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across engineering, marketing, sales, and finance.
- Strong customer-facing experience: pre-sales, strategic partnerships, and executive engagements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to translate customer value into technical product requirements.
- Familiarity with IP licensing models, silicon development cycles, and embedded ecosystems is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred.
