Full Stack Engineer

Position: Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend-Oriented)

Location: Tziporit Industrial Zone, Nof HaGalil (North Israel)

Work model: Hybrid – 2 days from home, 3 days in the office

A leading technology company in the autonomous retail domain is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong backend orientation to join its development team. In this role, you will help shape the future of autonomous retail solutions worldwide, working with modern technologies in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end full stack software development – from requirements through design to production delivery.
• Develop mainly on the backend in Java, with additional development in Go and Angular 18 on the frontend.
• Take ownership of features while meeting product roadmap timelines.
• Work closely and collaboratively with other team members in an Agile/Scrum environment (including JIRA).
• Participate actively in teamwork at the office, including design discussions and code reviews.
• Follow best practices and standards in software development, QA, and delivery.
• Contribute to backend architecture, infrastructure, networking, availability, and reliability.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in full stack development – must.
• Proven experience with Object-Oriented programming languages (Java – must; Go – advantage).
• Experience in multidisciplinary / multi-disciplinary companies – must.
• Proven backend development experience, including:
• Architecture & design patterns
• Infrastructure
• Networking
• High availability & reliability
• Experience with Spring Boot, messaging, multithreading, and cloud services – advantage.
• Proven experience with advanced frontend development (Angular, React) – advantage.
• Experience with Linux working environment – advantage.
• Experience with databases and DB design (Big Data, Firebase, MongoDB) – advantage.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum) – advantage.
