ATE Test & Product Engineering, Director

An Israeli high-tech company developing chips, located in Tel Aviv, with a hybrid work model.

The role includes responsibility for the full product lifecycle, from silicon validation through high-volume manufacturing and field reliability.

The position involves managing three functional teams: ATE Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality & Reliability Engineering (QRE).

Key responsibilities:

• Ownership of ATE test strategy
• Oversight of ATE Test Engineering and Product Engineering, including yield improvement and cost reduction
• Participation in Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) processes, and complex failure analysis (FA)
• Leading Quality & Reliability Engineering (QRE), including qualification plans and product release qualifications

Requirements -

BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering

10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in ATE Test and Product Engineering

5+ years of managerial experience

Understanding of semiconductor physics, yield ramp, statistical process control (SPC), and quality systems (ISO, AEC-Q100)

Experience defining and executing strategies for high-volume manufacturing (HVM), yield entitlement, and cost optimization
