Senior Flutter/Web (Fullstack) Developer

The Role

As a senior individual contributor, you’ll build end-to-end features across Flutter Web and Flutter Mobile (iOS & Android) and the Node.js/Express backend that powers them. You’ll collaborate closely with product and design to ship performant, accessible, and scalable experiences used by learners around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

• Flutter Web & Mobile delivery: Build responsive, high-quality UIs in Flutter for web, iOS, and Android, with attention to performance, accessibility, and reliability.
• Full-stack ownership: Design, implement, and maintain Node.js/Express APIs and services; integrate databases, auth, and third-party providers.
• Architecture & quality: Write clean, testable code; contribute to technical design, code reviews, and best practices across the stack.
• Performance & observability: Profile and optimize rendering, network usage, and API performance; add analytics, logging, and monitoring.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product, design, and other engineers to deliver features from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Scalability: Build with global scale, localization, and reliability in mind.

Requirements

• Expertise in Flutter (Dart): Proven experience shipping production apps on Flutter Web and Flutter Mobile (iOS/Android).
• Backend experience: Strong hands-on skills with Node.js/Express (designing RESTful APIs, middleware, request validation, rate limiting).
• Data & infra: Comfort with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), ORMs, and basic cloud/Docker/CI concepts.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and Kubernetes is required.
• Product mindset: You care about UX details, edge cases, and delivering measurable impact in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork with product/design/QA.
• Nice to have: TypeScript on the backend, GCP, automated testing (unit/integration/e2e), and experience integrating AI-driven features.
