Algorithm Engineer

AI Startup tackling complex problems with diverse types of data, developing statistical and mathematical AI-based models for behavior prediction.

The startup is successful, well-funded, located in Tel Aviv (near the train line), offers a hybrid work model (1–2 days from home), and has 56 employees.

Role overview –

• Work on diverse projects including mathematical models, graphs, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
• Handle various types of data: weather, trading, physical simulations, electrical grid flows, theoretical ML, time series, classical algorithms, tabular data, economic simulations, energy, and climate data.
• Focus on Machine Learning, development primarily in Python and Java.
• Optimize and improve the U.S. electricity market, ensuring efficient electricity production.
• Work with large-scale distributed pipelines.
• Engage in Data Science, Statistics, Information Theory, Probability, Optimization, and Signal Processing.

Requirements-

• MSc or a PhD in EE/CS/math/Physics/Stats
• 3 years of experience in Machine Learning – mandator
• Previous work experience in reputable product companies or well-known startups – mandatory.
• Master’s degree or higher – mandatory, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering only.\
